Mr. Kerr-Jarrett is the Managing Director and owner of Barnett Limited, a family business he has led since 1989. He is a graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his career he has undertaken many local development projects including the Barnett Tech Park, which have benefited the development and expansion of Montego Bay, through the visioning and implementation of the Montego Bay South Master Plan to develop the company owned lands in Montego Bay. 

Mark is a past President of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry and  Chairman of the St. James Parish Development Committee. He is currently the Chairman of CWJ-FLOW, Director of the Global Services Association of Jamaica and sits on the UDC Advisory Board for Montego Bay. In 2012, he became a founding Director of the Business Processing Industry Association of Jamaica (BPIAJ) (now known as Globals Services Association of Jamaica (GSAJ)). In his tenure, he has served as Director, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer and is still serving as a Director.
